Hot off the press! We design and produce this artists calendar annually with the Calendar Co-Op, local artists submit their work and represent the different months.
This year there's additional seasonal insights from award-winning garden and food writer Lia Leendertz. Gills fave images include Adrians page, inspired by his new cycle route to work, a glorious rural bridge view from Laura Cramer and new work by Gail Reid for January 2020... 2020?! Eeek!
We raced back to Hauser & Wirth in Somerset to see a fantastic solo exhibition of work by Alexander Calder (1898 – 1976). We thought we knew his work – mostly his mobiles, but he created wire sculptures, carved figures, oil paintings, jewellery, furniture – and a chess set!
We just loved the mid-century vibe – and any excuse for a trip to Bruton and the fabulous Piet Oudolf gardens.
Having moved house recently to our 'rural idyll' in Flax Bourton, we were pleased to be asked to take part in a local art show. We designed the banners and posters too. Adrian has exhibited his personal work many times throughout his career as an illustrator and artist, but Gill is fairly new to pottery so it was pretty exciting for her! We both sold a few things and met a few more of the locals - lovely! #countryliving
Dracula at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School 09/03/2018
Eeek! We're looking forward to being scared scared scared at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's 'promenade style immersive performance' of Dracula. We've created a suite of collateral to promote the event and the acting talent.
We've just updated the branding for Bodmin Nursery, print first...website next! The new look has a slightly more 'magaziney' feel, which we hope to roll-out elsewhere across their publicity materials both in-store and out.
MOSTYN, Wales' foremost contemporary gallery in Llandudno wanted a leaflet to draw in locals and tourists who don't usually venture into art galleries. Taking our visual lead from the logo, and merging the old and new architecture of the gallery, we created a lively, dynamic and colourful leaflet, in two languages, covering all aspects of what the gallery and shop offer. A couple of years on, we’ve re-jigged and provided them with another massive print run – it’s definitely effective in drawing in the crowds.
